It makes it much easier to remove & water, but do not place wet things in or it will discolor the basket & run. The spiral also makes it more elegant for your trailing plants or bushy plants. It holds up to a 6in size plant pot or basket. The plant hangers range from 40in to 50in in length from the ring to the end of the tail & you may trim it to your desired length.
