On offer is this lovely vintage salt shaker. It’s in good condition overall, the silver plating shines up well still - notable darkened specs of corrosion / verdigris all over however (please refer to images) as well as notable scuffs & scratches all over too commensurate with age but as shown all adding to the aged charm & character of the piece. It’s of traditional form, plain in design yet stylish in appearance. One side has been decorated with a maritime badge showing a flag with a monogram of T & H in the center - research continues on this I’m afraid as I’ve been unable to identify the company so far! Sheffield produced by Elkington, circa second quarter of 20th century. It measures a charming 7.5cm (around 3 inches) in total height. A charming shaker which despite the condition issues raised is ready to be collected & enjoyed once again! The postage quote is for a Royal Mail tracked & insured service.
