Handmade linen net bag will be helpful for multiple purposes - from carrying to storing various things. What I love the most about these bags, is the idea of a greener, plastic-free & wasteless concept of life. I tried to design this bag in a way which would allow you to easily take it to the farmers market, fall apple picking or grocery shop, as well as hang it on the wall for storing your products when back at home. Such net bags are flexible & handbag friendly, as well as more accommodating & stretchier than plastic bags. Perfect solution for produce that needs to be kept in breathable bags: potatoes, root veg, newly dug onions, garlic, drying chillies, herbs, shallots, etc. Helpful storage alternative in your bathroom, laundry, cloakroom, kids room, kitchen, craft zone, etc. Although crocheted bags come from old traditions, today more & more people find them contemporary & stylish. When the bag’s time is up, you may send it to re-cycling, or simply put into a compost as natural linen is biodegradable. I made two short crocheted handles & one long fabric handle. The longer handle is larger, made from durable linen fabric, & works as a drawstring (closes the bag when in use). Round bottom, pineapple style. Approx dimensions (may slightly vary as it is a handmade product): - length including short handles: 45-50 cm / 18-19, but stretches up to 65 cm / 25; - length including a long handle drawn out: stretches up to 85 cm / 33; - maximum width 37-38 cm / 15 (the drawstring is made from non stretchy linen fabric). Materials & colours: - 100% linen yarn: can be milk white, natural linen (melange: beige+white) or black. The natural grey yarn is a bit of a rustic type, can have a specific linen odour at first, which is normally goes away overtime. The black yarn is softer & glossier. - 100% linen fabric: I used striped linen of multiple colours in the pictures, but upon your request I can find almost all colours available in my store, just let me know. Made by me in a non-smoke & pet free environment. LAUNDRY: linen can be washed in high temperatures, but please note, that the bag might shrink a bit. Air dry. I noticed that the black bag may dye light colours, so I strongly recommend to wash it separately adding a bit of vinegar, especially for the first few times.
