The beautiful colours are very fleeting before their vibrancy is lost for another year. There is the most beautiful maple tree that grows along my dog walking route, & I decided to base this piece of work around its beautiful leaves. The botanical print has been hand drawn & painted digitally, & all the leaves used in this artwork were collected in local Perthshire over a 2 week period for use in this composition. My style is heavily influenced by the artwork of William Morris. I am also a massive fan of the Art Nouveau period, which includes artists such as Mucha & Grasset. There are also elements of DeLempicka in my work too, as I love her use light & dark, & her angular compositions. The fine art giclee print is approximately 21cm x 21cm. There is a small white boarder around the edge. The printing quality is of the highest standard (please read my other reviews), with the artwork being printed with archival inks on to archival paper as standard.
