Hello & welcome to my Etsy shop! Let’s get salty with this Morton salt girl plant pot. This iconic eight year old made her debut in 1911 as a part of a routine advertisement for Joy Morton, the company that eventually became Morton Salt Company. Today, we take table salt for granted. When Morton released their free flowing salt, their navy blue spouted container was a game changer. Before then, people would have to boil brine in an iron kettle to get that salty taste. All pots are made to order. All potters are glazed to protect against the elements. This potter is 6 inches in circumference. Made of clay WITH a drainage hole. White interior. Packed & shipped in bubble wrap to prevent breaking. The plant that was posed with the pot is not included with the pot. Morton Salt Girl Plant Pot - 6 Inch
