Manchester, England or both home grown organically in the UK of this fully hardy tap rooted clump-forming perennial, native to the UK & Western Europe. That is often found in damp, rocky upland areas. It is a great plant for adding to cottage gardens, prairie type plantings, walled gardens & rockeries. It does well in moist but well drained sites in full sun or shade at the front of the border, but is quite tolerant of other soil types & moisture. It grows to around 2’ (60cm) high & across, with light green pinnately lobed leaves & bright yellow bowl shaped 1’’ flowers.
