Beautiful Vintage Powder Compact from Kigu of London stamped MADE in ENGLAND’ KIGU’ around the rim of the mirror. in its original box & with a black felt pouch. in a gold tone metal with engine turned decoration on the rim & the back cover. The lid has a transfer printed image of a pretty yellow rose. With a spring catch to open the lid to reveal a mirror & the original sifter which is held in place by two small lugs in the inner rim. The powder dish is empty but still bears the aroma of its former contents. Approx measurements: Compact has a diameter of 3.25. The box measures 3.75 by 3.75 by 1. The black pouch measures 3.5 square. in good pre-owned, used condition with a strong catch. There is one small scratch to the rose transfer. The box has light wear, & the lid is torn at one corner. The felt pouch has a small hole near the base seam - please see my photos. Flower used as photographic prop not included.
