Although the entire herb grinder is dishwasher safe, it is recommended to disassemble the parts to effectively clean all components. Remove the top of the herb grinder. Rinse the herb grinder to remove any remaining herbs from the unit. Hold the herb grinder with the blades up. Squeeze the two tabs on the sides of the body with one hand. With the other hand, turn the locking ring counter-clockwise until it is free of the herb grinder. If cautious, remove the rotating blade and the fixed blade. Remove the insert from the body. The parts are ready to be cleaned. Assembly process: insert the insert into the body and install the fixed blade first.
