Wonderful heart shaped compact. This is the Cheri design compact & was made by Kigu of London in the 1950s. It has a floral designed lid which is rarely seen. It is such a lovely piece of mid century glamour. The compact is a silver metal case with some signs of use along the edges. It catches the light beautifully. The compact has a push button mechanism to open it. Cheri is embossed in the frame of the mirror which is clear. in the base there is a lid engraved with the KIGU logo. This interior lid has opens to allow access to the powder well. The compact is empty but could be refilled with your favourite shade. This would make a wonderful gift for a real vintage lover.
