All of the parts of this teapot (body, lid, spout, handle) were made from the same lump of clay. The individual components were carefully thrown off the hump. The handle was created to be comfortable to hold & the spout does not drip. The teapot features straining holes (see photo) to prevent large tea leaves from being poured out. Portions of the Teapot are textured with a technique called chattering. Carefully glazed using a light green glaze that turns orange on edges. Amazing teapot for tea lovers or teapot collectors.
