On the rocky shores of Mani, expert craftsmen pick by hand the salt crystals, from the top of naturally occurring sea water pools that form on the rocks. No processing is applied & keeps it’s natural moisture. It is a completely natural material, as it does not undergo any treatment, such as washing or adding iodine or other substances that will improve its flow or color. Crystalized by the natural sun & air of the Eastern Mediterranean, dried in the sun & packed without any processing. A few sprinkles of fleur de sel are perfect on anything that needs a little extra oomph right before it’s consumed, such as salads, fish, meat, fruit, vegetables, & dessert.
