Handthrown, ceramic beaker great for red wine, green tea, coffee or even yoghurt! The series ‘Grasping the Orient’ was born from the visual and mental impact Japan had on me. Illustrated with a circle and cross imagery representing how experiences are carried with you throughout your life and never really have a cut off point, due to them infiltrating the past, present and future. The text on these pieces read either, ‘The adjustment of being’ or ‘Grasping the Orient’. If you would like to ask for a particular line you can contact me via the ‘Ask seller a question’ button. If no preference is asked then I will choose for you. These beakers are ceramic and made from stoneware clay, and use food safe glazes.
