My items are made from real wood which means you may see wood knots, crevices, & other imperfections. This is what adds character to every piece & makes each item unique. Wood will have dents, dings, scratches, & some chipping. I will not use highly damaged pieces of wood, but there will be some imperfections. Engraving is deeper in some spots than others due to the grain of the wood so paint fill will not be perfectly uniform. Also due to the wood grain, while most paint will stay in the lines some may be outside the engraving area. Stain color lightness & darkness may vary slightly due to the nature of the wood.
