Fraser Fir (abies fraseri) Christmas Tree. Fraser Fir is a beautiful Christmas Tree & is the UK’s best selling tree, & can be used as a table decoration when small if grown in a pot. Seeds of the true fir species are relatively easy to germinate & grow. The dormancy within the seed is short & easily broken. This is achieved by a short period of cold stratification in the fridge. Always use a good quality seed compost. Please note we pack the majority of our seeds by volume so the number of seeds indicated is only an approximation.
