Product description: Flower seeds BERRY KNIFOPHY (in individual packaging) Perennial rhizome plant, native to Africa. It has taken root well in the south of Russia, successfully develops the central regions. Leaves are xiphoid, grayish green, 50cm long. Peduncles about 1 m high are crowned with dense spike-shaped inflorescences, similar to burning torches. The bright flowers of the knifofia attract bees & butterflies from all over the area. Plants look spectacular in group planting on lawns, near ponds & in mixed flower beds. Exotic inflorescences are irresistible in bouquets. Sowing seeds for seedlings in March - early April. Seedlings appear in 3 weeks. Seedlings in the phase of 2-3 true leaves dive, & from mid-June they are planted in a permanent place in the garden with a step of 30-40 cm. Plants grown from seeds bloom in the second year. Knifofia grows well & develops on fertile, drained neutral soils, in a sunny place. Easily tolerates drought with moderate watering. in autumn, the inflorescences are cut off, the leaves are tied in bunches. in the south, it winters with little or no cover. in more northern regions, the outlet is covered in an air-dry type (like roses).
