Offered for your consideration is this fabulous art deco, French rouge pot / powder compact that dates circa 1920. This pot is larger than most at 6.2 cm in diameter & is made of bakelite. The compact has wonderful lid design of a flapper lady in ball gown holding a large feathered fan. The lid is also signed Tita. This rouge pot is a screw top & opens correctly to reveal a deep, empty powder well & the underside of the lid has a clear & reflective mirror. This superb & rare art deco rouge pot is offered in good condition. There is one tiny nibble on the foot rim which is mentioned only for complete accuracy & in my opinion does not deter. There are no other faults noted. These little pots rarely come to market & this one is a fine example for the discerning collector. Thank you for looking.
