This wall mounted floating jewelry organizer is made with solid exotic zebrawood , cork board backed with a thin sheet of mdf, capped with a thin veneer of zebrawood, & brass rods. This is a modern piece with a concept of the sun rising over the sea, representing hope & positive energy. It is dado & rabbet joined with no nails or screws, keeping the aesthetics of this piece, our number one priority. All our lumber is first & second grade (FAS), highest quality, premium hard & exotic woods sourced & handpicked from local lumber yards. Zebrawood is an exotic wood native to the Western African countries of Cameroon & Gabon. The Zebra-like appearance is due to the light colored sapwood in contrast with the dark colored grain. MOUNTING There are two keyholes vertically aligned on the back of this piece. The two keyholes are vertically aligned so that if you wanted the extra sturdiness, you could mount it directly to a wall stud. If your wall stud is not conveniently located where you wish to mount this piece, we also include two drywall anchors that can support up to 22 lbs. Mounting this piece should be pretty straight forward since the two keyholes are perfectly, vertically aligned.
