Echeveria peacockii (a.k.a. Echeveria desmetiana) is found in mountainous areas of Mexico. Echeveria pulidonis is found in Central Mexico. Please note these are very small seeds. It is a great architectural plant for Mediterranean, Xerophytic or Coastal gardens, & can make an interesting addition for a conservatory or outside over summer in temperate dry gardens. Avoid Frost. It does well in a drier well drained sites in Semi shade to sun in a display pot or at the front of a border or rockery, but is quite tolerant of other soil types & moisture providing it is well drained. Drought tolerant. Plants should be lifted & moved into a heated greenhouse/indoors if you live in a frost prone area. These are evergreen, clump forming perennial succulents, with short stemmed rosettes, up to 10cm (4’’) across in Echeveria shaviana & to 13cm (5’’) across in Echeveria peacockii & 13 - 15cm (5 - 6’’) in Echeveria pulidonis. Echeveria shaviana ‘Cheyenne’ has blue - gray leaves that can get a pinkish tinge in strong sun & grow to 5cm (2’’) or so long, 2.5cm (1’’) wide & have a wavy whitish - red leaf margin. The pretty flowers are pinkish orange on the outside & yellow inside & are produced on a raceme around 30cm (1’) tall in summer. Echeveria peacockii has thick, fleshy, blue - grayish green leaves 5 - 6cm (2 - 2.4’’) long & 20 - 35mm (0.08 - 0.14’’) wide with a dense & waxy white patina. Echveria pulidonis has slightly cupped succulent green leaves with red margins that taper to a sharp point.
