This is a wonderful Vintage Hand painted storage Pot with a gorgeous Dutch Salt Glaze finish, it’s so lovely! The detail of the hand painted flowers painted in a vivid blue, are simply beautiful, capturing each brushstroke. The painted brush mark details on the handles are just so pretty. What is lovely about these Dutch Salt glazed pieces, is that the capacity of the vessel is often etched or painted onto the outside. This has 3/4 painted on the side, as seen in the photos, we would assume this means it holds 3 to 4 litres of liquid, 4 litres does go right to the top. This Pot is in vintage condition, with a couple of chips around the rim. It’s quite heavy with a sturdy base & handles. These Pots are so popular these days, & can be used as vases, great for kitchen cooking utensils or even just a decorative accessory in your home.
