Deer Medicine Pendant & Art Print Gift Set Gift set including an Amethyst & Sterling silver deer charm pendant & an art print featuring my ‘Deer Medicine’ artwork The gemstone pendant is a 3cm long Amethyst gemstone to which I have attached a small deer head charm made with 925 sterling silver (the deer head measures 1.5cm long) The pendant hangs from a length of brown wax cotton which has been crimped at the end to prevent fraying The pendant is presented in a gift box hand stamped with a deer head, the gift box made of recycled card & filled with green recycled shredded paper with a print out on parchment paper explaining a little about my Deer Medicine artwork & the properties of Amethyst gemstones, the print out is curled up in a scroll & tied with ribbon inside the box Pendant Print out: - ~ Deer Medicine Pendant ~ Deer Medicine represents a journey into the myths & legends of the Celtic otherworld, in the Celtic world nothing is ever straight, journeys go one way & then the other gradually working towards the centre & then back again, I used the labyrinth motif to represent this journey, if you follow the pathway it may take you from the depths of space to the path of the Sun & Moon, through the ancient pinewoods to meet the ferry man with his boat ready & waiting to take you to the underworld, you may even discover Cerridwen’s cauldron of inspiration, The ancient deer goddess Elen of the Ways stands in the centre to guide you on your journey. Amethyst ~A remarkable stone of spirituality & contentment, known for its metaphysical abilities to still the mind & inspire an enhanced meditative state.
