Curly Kale is one of the most valuable cruciferous vegetables. It is an easy plant to grow & yields in an unusual winter time. Kale leaves are valuable because of the richness of vitamins & easily digestible protein they contain. The Corporal variety offered in our store can withstand even severe frosts & guarantees a lush yield of leaves with exceptional taste. Curly Kale - Kapral leaves are suitable for harvesting from November to March, which makes it a medium-early variety. Kale leaves grow in the form of a loose rosette, clustered around a thick & stiff stem that grows to an average height of 40-60 cm. They are long, with a strongly curly & glossy surface, & have a dark green color. Kale stands out from other cruciferous vegetables with modest cultivation expectations. It grows very well in the cold season, & the temperature of a few degrees above 0 o C is sufficient for leaf development. Plants prefer relatively fertile & moist positions, but they withstand even longer periods of drought well. The optimum pH of the substrate is 6.5-6.8 pH. Seeds are sown into the ground in rows 50 cm apart. During the seedling growth period, a break should be made so as to leave 40-50 cm of free space between young plants. Perfectly tolerates even severe frosts, down to -15 o C. Both young & old kale leaves can be eaten. You can use them immediately after picking, adding them to salads & salads, preparing them like spinach or using them in soups. Kale contains very large amounts of vitamin C, we can also find beta-carotene, B vitamins & vitamins E, H & K.
