Perhaps the crescent moon smiles in doubt at being told that it is a fragment awaiting perfection. Perfectly framed by the curves of a sickle moon, a small 1.8mm salt & pepper diamond sits nestled in a rustic hand forged setting. The moon is pierced from solid sheet metal & the ring band is forged from round wire to your chosen size. Every setting is fabricated by hand from the tiniest sections of wire & tube, carefully soldered together to form the delicate double pronged claw. Careful shaping ensures that each hand set diamond fits perfectly. This ring can also be forged in gold & I think it would make a beautiful alternative engagement ring in rose gold! Each piece is lovingly sawn, soldered & polished by hand using a variety of traditional metal-smithing techniques. As such each piece will have some minor variations due to the nature in which they are finished, adding to their uniqueness. Nearly every one of our pieces is hand forged to order in our little home workshop so expect items to take around 2 weeks to ship unless otherwise stated in the delivery details.
