COPALERA BARRO VERDE - Green Glazed Clay is an artisanal, hand made incense burner typical from the state of Oaxaca in Mexico. Copaleros are used by many indigenous groups in Mexico & South America for burning the resin of Copal which is used in ceremonial rituals, to purify chakras & spaces, et cetera. Although most incense burners have the traditional shape of a cup, the typical copal burner from this region is a three legged style generally. A raw yet crafted uniquely this piece is a great spiritual tool for intention setting, meditate outdoors, & other special rituals. Barro Verde resists high temperatures of burning coal used to ignite Copal resin or other incense or aromatic herbs. The top cup gets hot while burning so hold always cautiously from one of the legs while in use. All burner sizes include a Copal resin sample & a coal tablet to use as soon as received.
