Rogers Silver Co. 923/4 Please Note: it is very important that the salt be emptied from the shakers, the shaker cap & sleeve be handled to protect them from the corrosive effects of the salt. Table salt will eat away at the metal, making the caps very difficult to remove, & resulting in an unattractive mess. Sharing my experience with this particular type of salt shaker, & more generally silver plated salt shakers in general.
