The perfect eco-friendly stocking filler! These plantable paper stars have been hand crafted using British milled paper embedded 24 varieties of native British wildflowers all classified as ‘perfect for pollinators’ by the Royal Horticultural Society. When the stars are planted, the paper will compost away to leave only flowers. A mix of annuals to provide first year colour, as well as perennials, which will flower from year two. The stars can be potted indoors, & when the season is right & the seedlings established, transferred directly into the garden soil. These stars come packaged in a compostable bag with a set of planting instructions. They are available in packs of 10, 20 & 50. They are also available in ‘party packs’ of 2 stars - The party packs are individually packaged in mini glassine bags with A7 instruction cards. WHY BUY OUR STARS? Our plantable paper is milled here in Britain, using a traditional deckle & mould, & hung to dry in the rafters of the mill. The seeds used are all native, non-invasive species, & are hand mixed by us in our West Sussex studio. The whole making process focuses on maximising the germination rate of these seeds.
