This is a cat grass/wheatgrass planter. It has a protective cover to prevent digging & a locking base to keep it stable. Drainage holes in the bowl prevent overwatering. Roughly 6x2. organic USA wheat grass seeds, organic natural worm casting fertilizer, & sustainable coco coir fiber grow medium included. To plant grass, add coir puck & a little water in a bowl & let it expand. Move the wet coir to the planter bowl you have already attached to base, mix in the fertilizer, top with seeds & place the cover on. If you decide to add soil or compost be sure to keep a small space between the seeds & the cover. I recommend not removing the cover once grass starts to grow. To drain excess water just tip the whole thing; no need to remove it from the base.
