Pretty pie crust rimmed Indoor Planter or Plant Pot Holder by C.H.Brannam Ltd from the Litchdon Pottery, Barnstaple, Devon (UK) which began producing wares in 1879. With a partial stamp on the base for ‘ROYAL BARUM WARE ENGLAND’, the pot has a creamy white glaze & hand painted pink fuchsias with green leaves repeated three times. Standing approx 5 deep at the rim with a diameter across the opening of approx 6.5 & a base diameter of approx 3.5. in good pre-owned condition with a couple of tiny nicks to the rim of the base & some crazing to the interior. As with all handcrafted pieces there are small anomalies arising from the manufacturing process including some small patches of missed glaze on the ruffled rim, some firing bubble holes & some little black spots within the glaze - please see my photos.
