Wonderful burlesque powder compact with mirror. It has such a tactile finish & looks so glamorous. The compact is a round gold tone metal case with a blue polka dot enamelled lid embellished with a silver motif. The base has a machine turned pattern. The compact has a push button mechanism to open it. The mirror has just a small amount of foxing, however the glass gives a good reflection. in the base there is a lid engraved with the KIGU logo. This interior lid opens to allow access to the powder well, the powder sifter is in place. The compact is empty but could be refilled with your favourite shade. This would make a wonderful gift for a real vintage lover. This beautiful compact measures approximately 8cm in diameter. It is in very good vintage condition.
