For best results use starter trays with a good seed starting medium. Sow your seeds 1/4 inch below the soil surface & keep top of tray covered with humidity dome or a clear zip lock bag to create a green house effect & encourage sprouting of seeds. Pepper seeds sprout faster if they are given a consistent soil temp between 70F & 95F. To achieve this indoors, use a heating mat under the seed tray with a soil thermostat to keep soil temps ideal. Soil should stay moist avoiding too much moisture as this can cause damping off in sprouts once the pepper comes up through the soil. Pepper seeds can take between 4-8 weeks to germinate. Hotter varieties can take longer. Once sprouted give your seedling at least 12 hours per day of bright (NOT HOT) sunlight. Transfer seedlings into individual 4 pots once two sets of true leaves have formed. Harden off before planting outdoors after nighttime temps are consistent at 50 F. Choose a sunny spot for your peppers & give them enough room to branch out & produce flowers. Biquinho Pepper Seeds
