Bee Hotels are designed to help boost the declining population of Bees by offering nesting sites that are hard to find naturally! My Little Habitats solitary bee hotels are designed to attract non-swarming, solitary bees which are vital for pollination. The holes in the wood mimic those pollinators would find naturally but are in decline. Hang in a sheltered but sunny place, ideally South facing. The Bees shall lay their eggs in the hole & close it up with such materials as clay. Ready to hatch in the Spring. For any garden, big or small! Each of the Bee Hotel’s holes are drilled individually at the ideal depth for Bees to lay their eggs. We like to change the size hole we drill ever now & then as different Bees use different sized holes. PLEASE NOTE Each Bee hotel is 100% unique, we use a variety of different wood of different shapes & sizes. We try to keep to a rough size but as this product is natural & not uniform some hotels will be higher & some smaller. We base the different hotels in the number of holes, not the size of the wood. Wood is untreated to protect the environment & is prone to natural changes with the weather. Wildflower seeds will contain a mixture of seeds & every bag will contain a different amount of each seed.
