A beautiful powder compact dating from the 1950s. It is in gilt metal with a pretty pictorial panel of pink & yellow roses. It looks at first glance like an embroidery but is actually just a picture. Surrounding the panel is an engine turned border. Inside is a mirror. The words Made in England are seen at the base of the mirror. in good condition with a little tarnish & signs of wear to the metal in places. No powder is present.
