To make the centerpiece for this beaded, tan, light brown, suede leather, drawstring pouch measuring: 11 x 8.8 cm. (4 1/4 x 3 1/2), I beaded around a 16 x 12 mm. tiger’s eye cabochon, glued to felt, by doing backstitch; using bronze, & peridot green, brass, & chocolate brown, size 9 & 10, seed beads. This, I beaded to the pouch, by doing brickstitch; using forest green, size 9, seed beads. The 117 cm. (46) milk chocolate brown, suede leather cord drawstring is finished at the ends with faceted, twisted, tiger’s eye tubes; jade & moss agate rounds; & faceted, glass rondelles; all tied on with 7 strand beading wire. It has two lock beads. (See last picture). One, a slice of cruelty free, elk antler, keeps the pouch tightly shut; while the other, a brass round, adjusts the strap length, so, it can be securely looped around a neck, waist or purse strap.
