Fennel is a plant with an aniseed flavor native to the Mediterranean basin. Sometimes used as a condiment, its bulb is consumed as a vegetable. The sweet fennel of Provence is recommended for consumption as a vegetable, because its flavor is softer & sweeter than the sweet & bitter fennel. It is a particularly interesting food from a nutritional point of view, as it is low in calories & rich in vitamins. Sowing: March to June. Harvest: July to October. Fennel is sown under cover in March & in the open ground from April. Sow your seeds in fertile soil, ideally enriched with manure-based fertilizer. Dig furrows 50 cm apart to place your seeds, cover them with a 1 cm layer of soil then plumb & water in fine rain. Replant your vegetables after 6 weeks, making sure to space them 20 cm apart. Fennel needs a lot of water, so make sure to water your plants well. Harvest the best formed fruits after 3 months as you need them. Batch Of 250 Sweet Fennel Seeds From Florence
