Bad habits, negative thoughts, situations, energies, people…all of it! This ritual is not a one & done. We are constantly surrounded by negative energy, oftentimes without even realizing it. Consider the act of banishing those energies to be self-care, & add it to your regimen. When something is banished, energy is cleared out, thus freeing up space. Make sure when banishing something that you call something in to fill that empty space, otherwise you are leaving room for anything else to come in & occupy it. That is the reason that my candle is half black, half white. The black portion represents that which has been banished, & the white wax represents the energies you are attracting. The candle is dressed with herbs that banish as well as those that protect & bless. Ideal for Saturdays, during a full or waning moon, used in conjunction with onyx, black tourmaline or clear quartz crystals. Before lighting, I recommend holding the candle & visualizing the energy of all that you wish to banish being transferred into the candle. Call in all that you wish to attract, place the candle on your altar, draw a salt circle around it & light it. You can also write your petition on paper & place it underneath the candle.
