They are close to each other, but due to slightly different environment & altitude, the taste of the teas are also slightly different. Tasting these different tea samples allows you to experience more about PuErh tea. Sheng (Raw) Pu-Erh is fermented naturally over a long, aging period. Tea leaves are picked prior to QingMing Festival. This harvest is during early Spring & the leaves are used for MingQian tea. MingQian tea is famous for its high-quality, beautiful tea leaves & tender buds less affected by pests. The samples are from tea trees considered ancient. The age of the trees range from 100 to 400 years old. Ancient tea is of better quality compared to tea from younger trees.
