Planter that I threw on a potters wheel using white stoneware clay. After trimming, I punched through the drainage hole, added hand-made feet to give the planter some lift for better drainage & decorated it by painting it with green & red colored slips in a wave-like pattern. After bisque firing, the planter was glazed with a food safe glossy clear glaze on the outside. Since this pot will be used as a planter, only the top 1 of the inside was glazed with a light poppy colored glaze. A coordinating organic edged drip plate that I formed by hand is included. Planter is 3 inches high & 4 inches in diameter (at the top). Weighs a little over 13 ounces. One of a kind. If you are someone who loves unique artisan-produced items over mass-produced stuff, then this may be the planter for you. I love to make planters & always have some available, so please check out that section of my store for more options. As a note, I reuse shipping supplies if I have them on-hand, mostly for environmental reasons (reduce, reuse, recycle…) & also for cost savings reasons. So your item may arrive in a box with a retailer’s markings on it. Thanks for looking & know that I really appreciate your support when you purchase one of my clay creations :-) Please read the About section of my shop for more information about my art.
