Art Deco enamel watch powder compact, 1930s chrome enamel compact mirror with pop up watch, octagonal Art Deco powder compact This is a fantastic Art Deco enamel powder compact with a built in pop up watch or clock. It measures approximately 8.5 x 9 cm. It’s finished in a red enamel with a cream enamel central lid decoration. There’s a little push button release at the back of the lid that allows the watch to pop up as shown in the video. The watch winds up & runs well. It has a lovely sweeping sub-second hand. The enamel work on the lid has some damage as you can see although this just adds to its overall vintage charm. Inside the compact is a good glass mirror on the top half of the lid while the bottom half, which houses the watch, is a reflective polished chrome. The original sifter is still present along with a dusting of powder. A charming Art Deco compact!
