Offered for your consideration is this powder compact dating circa 1920 & measuring 9.3 4.8 cm square. This compact is made of chrome metal with red enamel lid design which is repeated on the back as well. The case has attached red silk cord tassle. Hinges & catch are firm & secure & the compact opens to reveal a polished metal mirror under the lid which is clear & reflective. The powder well is covered by a turning dial mechanism which is operated by a small lever to the side from which the tassle is also attached. This charming art deco powder compact is offered in good pre-used condition. The case has no dents or dings. There is a spot of corrosion to the metal by the catch & there is some wear to the red enamel accents (please view the images which show both sides of the case). Thank you for your interest.
