A beautiful antique English Victorian, salt glazed stoneware beer bottle. The bottle is in good condition. A great antique display item for the home with a rustic, country feel. These bottles make fabulous stand alone items on a windowsill or shelf, in the kitchen, bathroom or office, or can be used as bud vases. Also suitable for restaurants, pubs, shop window display or as photographic props. Made in quantity for one off use they were roughly finished often with quite uneven bottoms ! Today this is seen as a huge part o their charm & makes each bottle unique & special. The bottle is 7 1/4 tall with a base diameter of 2 3/4. There is a small chip to the rim & a couple to the base but with careful staging you can display without seeing these ! Weight without additional wrapping 512g.
