A wonderful, rare, antique Shaman Mandala Medicine singing bowl. These bowls were used for earth / water magic & mandala rituals. A thick & heavy bowl. Comes with a hardwood playing stick & cushion pad. These bowls are meant to be struck. Rim play is very difficult. Evidence of oxidisation, staining comensuate with age & use. The bowl has been wiped over only. Note: B5 1011HZ. A wonderful, high frequency pulse of positivity. Diameter at largest point: 7.25 Decoration: sun motifs around outer & top of rim.
