ANTIQUE AQUA MEDICINE BOTTLE - Sloan’s Liniment An interesting antique pale aqua medicine bottle embossed with ‘Sloan’s Liniment’ on the front. Rectangular with chamfered corners & rounded shoulders. The top is moulded & it has no stopper. The base is embossed with an ‘I’ within a diamond shape - the mark for the Illinois Glass Company. Sloan’s Liniment was originally a horse rub used to relieve pain & later used for humans for pain relief. Great addition for a vintage medicine or quack cure bottle collection or use as a bud vase or in the bathroom for dispensing shampoo or bubble bath etc (you will need a cork!) Age: c 1910’s Condition: Good, some tiny nibbles around the top.
