Chahuaytire community is known to be the best weavers among the Quechua people. They maintain their ancestral knowledge of plants & weaving & bring it to the present. They are involved in every part of making their products. They have their own alpaca & lamas which they take care of, & obtain their wool out of. They make their own natural dies from indigenous plants belonging to their region.
