The chili pepper plant is a plant that likes to be in full sun with some tolerance to filtered sun. It is a plant that grows very well in hot climates & likes to have an approximate pH of 6-8 in the soil. It is a plant that can be sown in pots but for higher production it prefers directly in the soil with good drainage & with a good amount of nutrients to be able to produce its fruits. It is recommended to plow the soil to a good depth (8-12 inches) & add organic matter to improve the soil. La semilla de aj se debe plantar a una profundidad de 1/8 a 1/4 de pulgada (3-5mm). Se recomienda un espacio entre plantas de 18-24 pulgadas aunque a veces pueden crecer bastante y requerir ms espacio. La planta de aj es una planta que le gusta estar a pleno sol con alguna tolerancia a sol filtrado. Es una planta que se cultiva muy bien en climas clidos y a la cual le gusta tener un PH aproximado de 6-8 en el suelo. Es una planta que se puede sembrar en tiestos pero para mayor produccin prefiere directo en el suelo con buen drenaje y con buena cantidad de nutrientes para poder producir sus frutos.
