Product: Sow indoors in early spring for an early start, or in the garden after danger of frost has passed. In mild winter regions, sow in late summer to early fall for spring or possibly fall blooms. Cover the seeds with 1/8 to 1/4 inch of fine soil. Keep the soil moderately moist during germination. Product: When seedlings are 2 inches tall, thin to 8 to 10 inches apart. Transplant sparse plants. For continued blooming, keep flowers cut. Grows best in full sun or partial sun and shade. Product: Easy to grow. Calendula is not fussy about soil. Leave the last flowers of the year, which are easy to self-seek for next year.
