This loose leaf sheng puerh is made of big leaf tea trees from HeKai village, XiShuangBanNa, YunNan, China. It is fermented naturally. The tea tastes light & sweet with a honey note. The tea water looks light golden & yellow. It is suggested to use a GaiWan or tea pot to brew with high temperature boiled water (about 212oF, or 100oC ) & pour out the tea water slowly. This tea lasts a very long time. If you prefer strong tea, you can brew 15+ infusions. If you prefer light & mild tea, 20+ infusions is possible. Gongfu Style brewing tea: (a) Prepare 0.17 - 0.28 oz (5 - 8 grams) of tea leaves to a tea pot or a GaiWan. (b) Pour boiled water (about 212oF, or 100oC ) into the tea pot or GaiWan. (c) Steep for 3-5 seconds. (d) Pour out the first brew of tea. Do not drink. (e) Repeat steps (b) & (c). The subsequent brews are full of flavor & can be enjoyed. Add about 3-5 seconds for each successive brew after the first 4 brews are finished. (f) The tea can be brewed 15 - 25 additional times but this will depend on your personal preference & taste.Your purchase qualifies for free domestic (in the US) shipping when you spend $35 or more in this shop.
