Name: 2018 Charcoal Dried Baimudan. Grade: Second grade Origin: Fuding, Fujian, China Season: April, 2018 When I first bought this tea, I remember it being crisp & a little astringent, like an unripe fruit. I have opened it up around once a year since then, to check what sort of changes have taken place with the leaves. Recently I opened it up once more, & to my delight was greeted with an amazing aroma, bursting, complex notes - the flavours seemed to have reached fruition. Using a gaiwan, I brewed the tea leaves quickly with boiling water. The aroma gradually filled the air around me, the flavours steeped out in the cup, & finally I took a sip. After all these years, it was worth the wait. 2018 Find out more about Yaoyao & Sixian (): Instagram: sixian_tea Website: sixian.life 2018 Charcoal Dried Baimudan
