Setaria palmifolia is a species of grass known by the common names palm grass, highland pitpit, hailans pitpit, short pitpit, broadleaved bristle grass, & knot root. This species is a perennial grass with stems growing up to two or three meters long from a knotty rhizome. The stems can be up to 1cm thick.
